Homes, Vehicle On Quiet Maryland Court Struck By Early Morning Gunfire: Police

Multiple homes and at least one vehicle were struck when gunshots rang out early on Wednesday morning in Anne Arundel County, police said.

Officers responded to a report of shots fired at approximately 1 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 28 in the area of Village Square Court and Carriage Court in Severn.

Upon arrival to the area, police said that officers were able to locate several shell casings in the road in front of two residences in the 1700 block of Village Square Court.

Upon further investigation, it was revealed that the two homes and at least one vehicle were struck by projectiles, though no residents were injured and officials said that the damage was limited to the properties on that court.

No witnesses were located during the neighborhood canvas.
